As tensions rise between Earth and Mars, the pressure’s heavy for three New York City subculture kids. Set in the alternate reality of Woodshed, Sweet Glass Hearts follows June, Jonny, and Sherm over the course of one fateful spring weekend. As they reflect upon shared tragedy, they each face their own present peril, spanning personal, purgatorial, and planetary proportions. Sherm the Germ navigates a romantic encounter, while overly stoned and a touch smitten, he throws himself full force into the fictional realms of fantasy wargaming. Accused of interstellar espionage, Jonny loses his only means of contact with The Red Planet, and embarks on a mission to save his long-distance relationship from communication breakdown. And cannabis queenpin June fights a mental battle, while balancing her multi-borough bud-business, with academic deadlines. This is a chosen family, haunted by their recent past, riding together on a road trip to resolution.
